Violation of the sanctity of Abraham's Mosque in the days of the holy month
The Israeli occupation forces banned calling for prayers through the minarets of Abraham's Mosque about 50 times during the holy month of Ramadan 2010. Mr. Hakam Tahboub,officer at the Ibrahimi Mosque from the Department of Hebron Waqf, said that calling for prayer when sunsets, which is the sign of breaking the fast for the people of the Old City was prevented up for days of the holy month of Ramadan. On Saturdays of the month of Ramadan calling for the noon prayers, which coincide with the Jewish ritual of the settlers was prevented.
